SUMMARY:Reconnect
DESCRIPTION:This is the first in the W·I·L·D® Wellbeing Experience series\, a half-day spent gently\, in the company of Nature. A chance to slow right down. To soften. To listen. To wonder. \nTogether we’ll explore what it might mean to move from DOing into BEing\, giving ourselves permission to pause\, to let curiosity take the lead over certainty\, and to sit with “I don’t know” for a while\, rather than rushing to fill it. \nThere’s nothing to perform here. Nothing you need to arrive already knowing. Simply conversation\, walking\, silence\, reflection\, and a few gentle practices along the way\, all held with care. \nThis is for you if:\n– you’ve spent a long time being the strong one\, quietly holding it all together for everyone else\n– if slowing down feels like something you’re curious about\, even if you’re not quite sure how\n– if you find yourself longing for a deeper relationship with yourself\, with Nature\, or with life itself\, but aren’t sure where to begin\n– or if you’re simply craving a few hours of genuine permission to pause\, breathe\, and be. \nYou don’t need any experience\, or anything to prepare. Come just as you are.

SUMMARY:wall2wall Jazz Festival - Jo Harrop and Jamie McCredie
DESCRIPTION:Alongside songs from their much-loved 2020 album ‘Weathering The Storm’\, the duo will perform stripped-back interpretations from across their wider catalogues – as well as new material currently being written and recorded for their forthcoming album ‘Lighthouses’\, planned for release in 2027.\nWeathering The Storm was met with rapturous reviews on release. The Guardian awarded the album four stars\, calling it “a gem… simple\, modest and perfect\,” while Iggy Pop described it as “unimaginably good” on his BBC Radio 6 Music show.\nAt the heart of this partnership is a shared commitment to understatement\, space and emotional truth. Voice and guitar are given room to breathe\, allowing the songs to unfold with clarity and intimacy – qualities that have come to define their work together.\nJo Harrop is an award-winning singer\, songwriter and recording artist whose work effortlessly blurs the lines between jazz\, blues and soul\, with subtle influences of Americana\, folk and Latin music.\nHer discography includes ‘When Winter Turns To Spring’\, won Album of the Year at the 2023 Parliamentary Jazz Awards. Frequently praised for her warm\, smoky tone and emotional honesty\, she has been nominated twice for Vocalist of the Year.\nJo Harrop was chosen to support Gregory Porter on his 13-date UK tour in 2025\, including four nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall. She has performed at many of the world’s most respected venues and festivals\, including Ronnie Scott’s\, the 606 Club and PizzaExpress Live. Jamie McCredie is one of the UK’s finest solo guitarists and busiest session musicians.\nAfter winning BBC Radio Guitarist of the Year at the age of 19\, he established himself as a distinctive voice on the instrument\, blending fiery blues-inflected jazz with deep classical knowledge and exceptional technical facility.\nHe has appeared on some of the world’s largest stages – including Glastonbury\, Coachella\, Montreux and the North Sea Jazz Festival – as well as at intimate venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and Cadogan Hall.\nHe has toured and recorded extensively around the world\, working with a diverse range of artists including James Morrison\, Roísin Murphy\, Emeli Sandé\, Will Young\, Joss Stone\, Beverly Knight\, Kid Creole\, Tokio Myers\, Gilbert O’Sullivan\, Robbie Williams\, K.T. Tunstall\, Steps\, and on numerous film\, television and radio sessions.\nAs a producer and engineer\, Jamie McCredie recorded\, mixed and performed on ‘Weathering The Storm’\, for which he received numerous Record of the Week accolades. In 2023\, he won a Parliamentary Jazz Award as producer for ‘When Winter Turns To Spring’.
