Christmas Message 2022

As the year draws to a close, Cllr Konieczny shares his Christmas Wishes for 2022.

On behalf of Abergavenny Town Council, Mayor Tony Konieczny, Mayoress Sue Konieczny, & Town Clerk Sandra Rosser, wishes everyone in Abergavenny a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

"Our lovely town continues to prosper despite the difficulties and hardships we all face post covid pandemic and now with a cost-of-living crisis. The bonds of our community have grown stronger, and we have shown that we can care for and support each other in these difficult times. We are officially a Town of Sanctuary and we have welcomed into our community people who have fled from war and destruction. We are very much a caring community and together we can ensure that we can look after everybody. Let’s hope for a more peaceful and kinder 2023."
