Abergavenny Town Council Annual Report 2024–2025 Now Available

Abergavenny Town Council is proud to share its Annual Report for 2024–2025, is now available online. The report showcases the Council’s achievements over the past year from environmental and cultural initiatives to digital transformation, community events, and ongoing projects that continue to strengthen the town.

Reflecting on his year as Mayor, Cllr Chris Holland shared:

“As an Abergavenny boy of 75 years, it was an honour and a privilege to be voted in as Town Mayor by my fellow Councillors, and to follow in the footsteps of previous Mayors. In my time a Mayor I’ve was privileged to attend so many community events, support local charities like Sight Cymru and Dandelion Wishes, and celebrate the volunteers and organisations that make Abergavenny such a special town.”

The 2024–2025 Annual Report includes:

  • Financial transparency through easy-to-read charts
  • Updates on the Town Team, sustainability goals, and the Placemaking Plan
  • Highlights from Wales in Bloom, D-Day 80, and other major events
  • Future priorities for accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability
