Abergavenny Town Council has signed a new three-year funding agreement with Abergavenny Community Trust, reaffirming its commitment to supporting one of the town’s most important community facilities.
The agreement will provide continued financial support for the Community Centre, helping the Trust maintain and develop the wide range of activities, services and opportunities it offers to residents throughout Abergavenny.
Mayor Councillor Bryony Nicholson recently met with Caroline Lewis, Co-Chair of Abergavenny Community Trust, to formally sign the agreement and celebrate the continuation of a partnership that has delivered significant benefits to the local community.
The Community Centre plays a vital role in the social fabric of Abergavenny, providing a welcoming and accessible space for community groups, activities, events, support services and local initiatives. The centre is used by people of all ages and backgrounds and contributes significantly to reducing isolation, improving wellbeing and strengthening community connections.
