Minutes of the Planning Committee of the Council held after the Projects Committee on Monday 17 March 2014 in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Abergavenny

1. Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs D Edwards, R Harris, N Tatam, P Wadsworth, Ms S Dodd, J L Prosser, P Jordan, Mrs M Powell, M Hickman, R Harries and M Chiplin.

2. Declarations of interest would be made as and when necessary.

3. In view of the fact that there were only 4 members present the Committee was inquorate, but it was agreed to comment on the applications as follows:

DC/2014/00171 Planning permission for new conservatory at 2 Saxonbury Court, Lansdown Rd,

Abergavenny � Recommend approval

DC/2014/00041 Planning permission for conversion of old two storey stable to residential accommodation and formation of new vehicle access and parking area at 150 St Helens Rd, Abergavenny � recommend approval

DC/2014/00170 Planning permission for new conservatory to rear of property at 3 Saxonbury Court, Lansdown Rd, Abergavenny � recommend approval.

DC/2014/00011 Planning permission to introduce steel external staircase to front of mid unit No2 to access upper floor. Provide additional stairs to upper mezzanine floor. Remove vertical front steel cladding and replace with double glazed windows and door to upper floor, thereby allowing light and visibility. No change of use. Unit 2, Castle Meadows Park, Merthyr Rd, Abergavenny � recommend approval
