Remembrance Day

Each year, our community comes together to honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed in times of conflict.
This year’s service will take place on Sunday, 9 November:
🕙 10:30 am – Wreath laying at the cenotaph (Town Hall passage), followed by the march to the War Memorial
🕥 10:45 am – Service at the War Memorial (outside Tesco), led by the Borough Band
🕚 11:00 am – Wreath laying & two-minute silence to honour the fallen
Please note: The section of the A40 around the War Memorial will be closed from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm for the safety of attendees.
We warmly invite all generations to join us in this poignant occasion of remembrance, respect, and unity.
