Gethin has lived in the town for nine years.  He sits on Policy & Resources, People & Communities and Environment Committees.

He is particularly interested in Community Activism and Social Justice. Alongside his commitments at Abergavenny Town Council, Gethin also works in the Prison Service and is a local and National Trade Union representative.
