Monmouth Christmas Lantern Parade

Join the people of Monmouth for a wonderful illuminating Christmas Lantern Parade through the streets their town.

Starting at Monnow Bridge Gatehouse from 6.30pm, the parade will be led by Father Christmas and culminate at the Shire Hall.

The parade is an annual celebration of light, with this year’s theme being The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper’s Feast. So fill the sky with glowing butterflies, buzzing beetles, shimmering wings, and twinkling flowers.

Workshops will be held in Monmouth throughout November where you can create your own lantern and get involved.
