Minutes of the Planning Committee held on Wednesday 12 October 2016 after the Council Meeting in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Abergavenny

In attendance: The Interim Town Clerk.
1. Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs Mrs M Harris, R Harris, P Jordan, M Hickman, D Edwards and Mrs M Powell. (Cllrs Edwards and Powell are members of the County Planning Committee and would have declared an interest if they had stayed.) Cllr Jordan also declared an interest before leaving.
2. The following Planning Applications were recommended for approval:
DC/2016/01036: Planning Permission: Demolition of ancillary structures and buildings to the side and rear of the main dwelling. Creation of a new vehicular access and driveway through enlargement of existing gateway and new dropped kerb. 1 Regent Street, Abergavenny NP7 5BS
LBC/2016/01037: Listed Building Consent: Demolition of ancillary structures and buildings to the side and rear of the main dwelling. Creation of a new vehicular access and driveway through enlargement of existing gateway and new dropped kerb. 1 Regent Street, Abergavenny NP7 5BS
DC/2016/01005: Planning Permission: Amended residential layout to include 1 x2 bed flat on first floor and 2 x1 bed flat on second floor at 43 and 43a Frogmore Street, Abergavenny NP7 5AN
DC/2016/01042: Planning Permission: Flat roof to pitched and insulate externally. Re-render and Tyrolean finish. 8 Summerfield Road, Abergavenny NP7 5TE
DC/2016/01050: Outline Planning Permission: 2no residential infill building plots. Garden of 14 Lansdown Road, Abergavenny Concern was expressed whether 2 is appropriate and one might be better and the Trees Officer be invited to inspect the site concerning the trees as appropriate
DC/2016/01088: Planning Permission: conversion of garage into living space and generate a new garage and drive access. Meadow Lodge, Meadow Lane, Abergavenny NP7 7AY
DC/2016/01108: Planning Permission: erection of single storey building for office or business use. Mill Street, Abergavenny, NP7 5HE
