2. Declarations of Interest
Cllr Morgan declared an interest in the Application DM/2018/00842 as a neighbour of the applicant. Cllr Morgan took no part in discussions.
3. The following applications were recommended for approval
DM/2018/00808 Proposed extension and part change of use of the multi functional community building at Family Church, Rehoboth Centre, Castle St, NP7 5EE
DM/2018/00842 Change of use at Former Black Lion, Lion Street, Abergavenny, NP7 5PE
DM/2018/00806 Planning application for extension at 46 Old barn Way, Abergavenny, NP7 6EA
DM/2018/00882 Change of use for first floor property from class D2 to retail at Burton Menswear, 16-18 High Street, Abergavenny, NP7 5RY
4. To consider a response to the WG consultation to the temporary dis-application of paragraph 6.2 of TAN 1
The Council agreed to respond to the above consultation stating agreement with the dis-application of paragraph 6.2 and that the Town Council considers that this dis-application will be effective in relieving pressure on LPAs when dealing with speculative planning applications for housing. Reference will be made to the speculative Pentre Road development.
ACTION: Town Clerk to prepare and submit a consultation response.
5. To consider a response to the WG Consultation on changes to the Use Class Order
This will be placed on the July agenda for further discussion following the circulation of a briefing note by the Town Clerk.
