Further discussion took place regarding the funding for the cycle and pedestrian bridge across the river Usk.
ACTION: It was agreed to send a letter to Welsh Government stressing the importance of this bridge and request that funding is identified immediately.
The Town Council did not consider the following applications as the column has been installed.

The following applications are recommended for refusal:
DM/2018/00603 � The Town Council endorses the MCC highway objection.
DM/2018/00566 � The siting of the garage in front of the building line is considered to be contrary to LDP Policy DES1 c) and d) and HE1 a) ad c). There is sufficient space to the side of the property for this building to be sited to the side of the property thereby not changing the character and appearance of the streetscene.
