Minutes of the Planning Committee held on Wednesday 8 July 2015 after the Council Meeting in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Abergavenny.

1. Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs D Edwards, R Harris and Mrs M Powell who would otherwise have to declare an interest as members of the County Planning Committee.
2. The Following Application was recommended for approval:
DC/2015/00676 Planning permission for conversion of existing Coach House to form ancillary accommodation/annex to existing dwelling at 77 Brecon Rd, Abergavenny. Recommend approval subject to sufficient off-street parking being available.
3. The following application was recommended for refusal:
DC/2015/00388 Advertisement consent for new shop-front and frontage extension proposals to existing Butcher`s shop at 1 to 3 Flannel Street, Abergavenny. Refusal is recommended as it is considered that the new shop-front and frontage proposed are not in character with the building and existing traditional arrangement. It is considered to be detrimental to the character of the area.
