Ben has lived in the town for 30 years. He sits on the Policy and Resources Committee and is particularly interested in the environment, active travel and placemaking.

Alongside his commitments at Abergavenny Town Council, Ben also sits as a Councillor in Monmouthshire County Council, and works in manufacturing.  Ben is a keen hillwalker, musician and tennis player, playing for Abergavenny Tennis Club.
