Philip Bowyer

Represents Ward on Abergavenny Town Council.

Philip has lived in Abergavenny for 12 years. He is the Chair of the Policy and Resources Committee and brings to this role considerable experience in the organisation, administration, and finances of voluntary organisations. He is also a member of the Environment Committee.

He has been involved in numerous campaigns in Abergavenny including those on the retention of the cattle market, the policy to allow restaurants and pubs to have tables and chairs outside their premises and the provision of lifts at the railway station to allow access for all.

He has, at different times, served as chair of the former Bryn y Cwm Community Forum and the Abergavenny and District Civic Society. Outside of Abergavenny Town Council activities, Philip is a keen photographer and loves to explore this great country of Wales.
