“Rustic Ruins” Pen & Wash Workshop With Tutor Catherine Beale

Enjoy a day mixing the beautiful clarity of permanent ink line with its perfect partner – colourful, translucent watercolour wash. Catherine will guide you through the many uses of this mixed media pairing including quick practice sketches, finishing with a larger, developed painting. Ask questions, receive some one-to-one tuition and take home ways to adjust problem areas and review your work. Suitable for all abilities.

This workshop will be held at Chapel Cottage Studio which is based in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside near Llanddewi Rhydderch, 4 miles outside of Abergavenny. There is no public transport so a car is required to get here. We have ample parking and although the main studio is step free, there is a step to enter the building and three steps down to our cosy conservatory where lunch will be served.
