You are hereby summoned to attend the People and Communities Committee Meeting on Wednesday 6^th March 2024 at 7pm, both online and in person at the Mayor’s Parlour, Town Hall. An MS Teams invitation will be shared for remote access.

Members of this Committee are currently Councillors Jones (Chair), Eldridge (Vice Chair), Barnes, Nicholson, George, Burch, Powell, Simcock, A Wilde, G Wilde.

The public are permitted to address the meeting for up to 15 minutes before the start of the meeting. Maximum 5 minutes for each speaker. No decision can be taken during this session, but the Chair may decide to refer any matters raised for further consideration.

PC15/24: To receive an update from PC Thompson on neighbourhood policing.

PC16/24: To receive a presentation from Fairtrade Abergavenny.

PC17/24: To receive a grant application from Abergavenny Eisteddfod.

PC18/24: To consider a new cooperation agreement with Abergavenny Arts Festival for 2024, 2025 and 2026.

PC19/24: To receive a report on the Events to be held in Abergavenny in 2024. (Day of Ukraine in Wales, D Day Planning)

PC20/24: To consider the tender draft for Christmas Light Provision.

PC21/24: To receive and note the Principal Officer’s update. (MonLife Service Level Agreement)

PC22/24: Finance:

• to receive and approve the budget report for specific budgets allocated to this committee
• To consider awarding support to Abergavenny Eisteddfod.

PC23/24: To receive any updates from Councillors for the Strategy and Action Plan.
