You are hereby summoned to attend the People and Communities Committee Meeting on Wednesday 6^th September 2023 at 7pm, both online and in person at the Mayor’s Parlour, Town Hall. An MS Teams invitation will be shared for remote access.

Members of this Committee are currently Councillors Jones (Chair), Eldridge (Vice Chair), Barnes, Nicholson, George, Burch, Powell, Simcock, A Wilde, G Wilde.

The public are permitted to address the meeting for up to 15 minutes before the start of the meeting. Maximum 5 minutes for each speaker. No decision can be taken during this session, but the Chair may decide to refer any matters raised for further consideration.

PC 55/23. To receive verbal updates on the Events planned for Abergavenny in 2023/24:

• Online events meeting 21^st September
• Greener Abergavenny 1^st October
• Remembrance Parade sub-group meeting
• Christmas Light Switch On sub-group meeting

PC 56/23: To receive and note the Town Clerk’s update. (ACW Draft Constitution, Social Report, Abergavenny Crafty Women Minutes)

PC 57/23. Finance:

• to receive and approve the budget report for specific budgets allocated to this committee.
•  To consider the grant funding request from Abergavenny Town Football Club (Resolution to Award Grant Aid).

PC 58/23: To receive any updates from Councillors for the Strategy and Action Plan (priorities 2, 11,12, 13, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, 41, 42).
